We are building a B2B eCommerce marketplace for the cannabis (Hemp, CBD and THC) industry - think Amazon but B2B. Our focus on "ancillary"supplies (gold rush reference to selling picks & shovels) are both specific to the industry, i.e. Grow Lights, but also general business needs, i.e. janitorial supplies. We will launch first in the US. Our target audience is usually the owners of these businesses in following segments: Growers, Extractors/Processors & Retailers (dispensaries, delivery services, etc.) We will have both owned inventory (sold and shipped by EBTP) and unowned inventory (sold and shipped by the seller). This is very similar to how Amazon works today. We will want to be transparent about this to our customers -again mimicking amazon. In addition to our products we will have a significant focus on blog content. Our focus should be on clear product information with a focus on brands and related information to make a buying decision: i.e. price, shipping time, reviews, etc., simple checkout experience all with a mobile-first mindset.
